Welcome to the Wishlist, Development Solutions Organization (DSO)'s main product. As of February 2009, twenty part-time employees work to keep these offerings updated.
What is Wishlist?
The Wishlist is a gathering of opportunities to work or volunteer in the international development realm. We:
- Provide a platform organizations can use to publish and manage opportunities and volunteer applications. We use our event series and conferences to bring opportunities online for wide dissemination.
- Aggregate, organize, and tag opportunities already posted elsewhere. In this aspect, we are a constantly updated repository of links and reference information.
Testimonials
"I am really glad I made a profile on wishlist last semester. Through this service offered by DSO, I came across an interesting research opportunity which I otherwise would not have discovered. During the summer, I worked with an HCI professor named Professor Matthew Kam on developing mobile games in J2ME which encourage e-learning (MILEE). These games were then deployed in certain schools in Karnataka. I highly recommend that everyone creates a profile on Wishlist as there are a lot of amazing unique job opportunities on this website." —Rohith Salim (Electrical & Computer Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction C/O 2011)
